Lookat the engine side of the radiator, if you have an electric fan, that's where it lives. If you have a viscous fan, it lives on the waterpump. If you do have an electric fan, the relay will be located as stated in this post above:thumbsup
S saleenmav Discussion starter ยท May 26, 2017. I rebuilt my Durango after an accident and installed a used HD cooling fan in it. Originally came with HD cooling. Worked fine for months and then tonight I notice my temperature was climbing so I checked under the hood and noticed the fan wasn't working. Good connection on it.
TopAnswer. There are two fan relays (high speed and low speed) on the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the PDC (power distribution center) under the hood on the passenger side. One of the firSTSymptoms commonly associated with a bad or failing cooling fan relay is an engine that runs hot or overheats. If You notice that Your engine is running at

Clicking this will make more experts see the question and we will remind you when it gets answered. If you mean the radiator cooling fan, your problem could be a relay. There is a fan in front of the radiator and
Thefan is controlled by the Totally Integrated Power Module. Near battery. You can probably see a connection from it to the battery +. It works in conjunction with commands given it over the CAN bus by the powertrain control module. The TIPM part tends to be problematic from reports we get here.
Thereis no relay on the cooling fan circuit. If the cooling fan is not operating, check fuse #105 (20 AMP), in the underhood junction box, right front of engine compartment. If fuse is good then test to make sure fan is getting power. If no power then could be bad cylinder head temperature sensor, hydraulic fan solenoid, a/c cycle switch or
AC Compressor Clutch Relay, A/C Condenser Fan Relay, Blower Motor Relay, Power Mirror Actuator, Radiator Fan Relay, Recirculation Control Motor, Rear Window Defogger Relay, Heater Control Panel: 15: 20: Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor, A/F Sensor Relay, Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Vent Shut Valve: 16: 15: 2007-2011: Ignition Coil Relay
Ifthe engine coolant temperature at key-off is warmer than a predetermined value, or the A/C pressure is greater than a predetermined value, the cooling fan will operate at a low speed. The fan will shut OFF if the temperature or pressure drops below the predetermined value, but will only operate for 2 minutes, regardless of the coolant
dc_98_camsaid: On the lower passenger side of the radiator, there is a thermo-electric switch called Temperature Switch No. 1. When the engine coolant warms up sufficiently, this switch opens and diverts electric current through the relay coil of Fan Relay No. 1, which results in low speed operation of the radiator fan.
